Position Summary:
Eras Senior Network seeks a Volunteer Coordinator (RSVP Menomonee Falls) to join our team. This position will be responsible for leading and managing school volunteer programs held in the School District of Menomonee Falls and other duties supporting volunteer engagement and program success.

Responsibilities and Core Functions:
- Create, manage and retain Eras programming in SDMF buildings.
- Recruit, enroll and train Eras volunteers.
- Maintain working relationship with SDMF staff and administration, to promote programs and understand district needs.
- Host volunteer recognition and appreciation events.
- Host annual pen pal party at Riverside Elementary School.
- Work with key organizations in Menomonee Falls for networking and volunteer recruitment purposes (Menomonee Falls Collective Impact team, Holy Cross Care and Community team, MF Senior Center, etc.).
- Represent Eras at programs, presentations, school events and outreach fairs as needed.
- Support and retain volunteers by creating a positive environment/culture.
- Other duties supporting the volunteer department as assigned

Essential:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, reflecting excellent customer service skills.
- Experience sourcing and recruiting volunteers or doing community outreach in Milwaukee or Waukesha Counties.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong emphasis on thoroughness, accuracy and follow up; the ability to multitask/organize.
- Ability to manage multiple shifting projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Team player who can work independently while simultaneously meeting deadlines.
- Flexibility to adapt, positive attitude towards change, and a constructive and creative approach to problem solving.

- Proficient in basic computer applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Previous experience working within a CRM or other volunteer management
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in social sciences, human services, communication, marketing, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in program development and management
- Experience with volunteer management, recruitment, or membership management.
