Project Manager
Location: Medina, OH (work in Cleveland market)
A growing, design-build focused real estate development and construction firm based in Medina, OH is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee ground-up and renovation projects from preconstruction through completion. This organization specializes in multifamily, senior living, and mixed-use residential developments, offering a long-term pipeline of work and a highly collaborative team environment.
This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys working closely with ownership, design teams, and field operations while driving projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction from preconstruction turnover through project closeout
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
- Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and change order management
- Coordinate with internal development, design, and field teams to ensure alignment
- Oversee quality control, safety compliance, and risk mitigation
- Maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants, and local municipalities
- Track and manage project financials, including monthly reporting and billing
- Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to maintain schedule and budget
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a general contractor or developer-builder
- Experience managing multifamily, senior living, hospitality, or mixed-use projects preferred
- Proven ability to manage projects from $5M–$30M+
- Strong understanding of construction processes, contracts, and budgeting
- Experience working in a design-build or developer-led environment is a plus
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
