Job Overview
We have two specific sewing tasks that need to be done. Materials will be provided already cut to the correct sizes.
One task: Sewing a straight line on about a 17" folded piece of velvet ribbon. We have 400 pieces that need to be sewn. We are paying 0.25 cent per piece.
Second Task: Two pieces of velvet ribbon that will be sewn into a tube and then will need the material to be flipped back to the right side. Paying $1.25/piece, quantity about 150 pieces.
Skills
- Proven experience in garment construction and sewing techniques
- Proficiency with sewing machines and hand-sewing tools
- Knowledge of fashion retail standards and customer service principles
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, patterns, and measurements accurately
- Strong basic math skills for measuring fabric and calculating dimensions
- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality finishes on all garments
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
