CareStaff Partners is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time school-based position in Newark, Maryland for the 2026-2027 school year.
Position Details
- Location: Newark, MD
- Start Date: August 24, 2026
- End Date: June 30, 2027
- Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
- Grade Levels: PreK3 through 3rd Grade
- Caseload: Approximately 40-50 students with support from another SLP
- Student Needs: Mild to moderate disabilities
- Setting: School-based
- Pay: $50-$61/hour based on experience
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students with IEPs
- Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Requirements
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathology License
- Maryland Department of Health Certification
- School-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
