```Job Summary:
Assistant Teacher/ Center Closer must be able to pass a background check, physical exam, and have a high school diploma or GED. Asst. Teacher will be responsible for supervising the children, assisting with homework, toileting, eating, etc... Must be willing to complete the necessary training required by DHS. If you are looking to get a career in childcare or love working with children this is the perfect opportunity for you. Hours would be a split shift.
Duties:
- Create a safe and engaging environment for children
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Monitor children's behavior and intervene when necessary
- Provide assistance with personal hygiene and daily routines
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the individual needs of each child are met
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines
-Perform closing duties
Skills:
- Special education knowledge to support children with special needs
- Early childhood education background to provide appropriate developmental activities
- Experience in childcare or daycare settings
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and teaching methods
- Ability to care for infants, toddlers, and school-age children
- Knowledge of first aid procedures for minor injuries or emergencies
- Understanding of childhood development stages and milestones
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
