Core Driller Helper
The Core Driller Helper assists the Core Driller with concrete cutting, core drilling, and related construction activities. The position requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Core Driller with setting up and operating core drilling equipment.
- Help keep drilling locations safe
- Assist with removing concrete coring
- Set up hoses, water lines, electrical cords, generators, and other equipment.
- Handle and transport drilling equipment, tools, and materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
- Assist with equipment cleanup, maintenance, and loading/unloading at the end of each job.
- Communicate effectively with the Core Driller, supervisors, and other crew members.
- Perform other general labor duties as required.
- Dress code required, safety glasses, construction boots, relax, fitted pants(company shirts will be provided)
Qualifications:
- Construction experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in physically demanding environments.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Start time 7am
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment.
- Willingness to learn concrete drilling and cutting techniques.
- OSHA or safety training is a plus.
Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and lift heavy equipment for extended periods. Work may involve exposure to dust, water, noise, and varying weather conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
