American Traveler is seeking a Certified OB Surgical Tech with at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift travel assignment at a short-term acute care teaching hospital in Oregon.

Short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 beds
-
OB surgical tech unit with a 1:1 patient ratio

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
-
Every other weekend is required
-
Block scheduling is required
-
No on-call required
-
No floating between units within this assignment

Epic EMR in use
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified OB Surgical Tech

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required

Epic EMR experience required
-
BLS certification required
-
License required if applicable
-
At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position

Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Minimal RTO is expected for this position

Scrubs: any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility
