Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in commercial electrical service work and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves performing service calls, installations, troubleshooting, and small construction projects while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with electrical codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled electrical service calls
- Complete small construction and installation projects
- Install interior and exterior lighting systems
- Install dedicated circuits and electrical receptacles
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently
- Maintain and manage tools, equipment, and materials
- Operate and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring it remains fully stocked
- Communicate effectively with customers to ensure proper installations
- Stay up to date with NEC and local electrical codes
- Operate trade-specific testing equipment and tools
- Work efficiently while demonstrating strong organizational skills
- Safely operate lifts, aerial equipment, and (if applicable) bucket trucks
- Work in elevated environments using proper PPE
- Be available for overtime and maintain a flexible schedule
Physical & Work Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience and knowledge
- Experience performing commercial electrical service work
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working at heights using lifts and scaffolding
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset
- Experience operating a bucket truck is a plus (not required)
