Description:
Highly motivated individual who demonstrates a positive, outgoing, and influential personality when providing an unsurpassed level of member services to ensure that members’ expectations are met and exceeded during every interaction. They will maximize every opportunity to advertise e-services and increase membership along with referring consumer and real estate loans within the branch.
Duties & Responsibilities

Open new accounts and, through the interview process, cross sell additional products to best benefit the member needs and meet branch goals.

Provides an unsurpassed level of member service, meeting and exceeding their expectations with every interaction.

Provide consumer and real estate loan referrals to the Loan Sales team or Branch Management.

Disburse Consumer loans.

Refer appropriate members to the First New York Retirement and Investment Services Program.

Responsible for having a thorough knowledge of all products and services offered by the credit union, including but not limited to shares, consumer loans, and e-services.

Efficiently provides servicing for all accounts and loans issues or concerns. Ensures that requests are processed correctly and completed in a timely fashion.

Follows policies and procedures applicable to the MSR position to maintain compliance with government and credit union regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

Perform teller duties as needed to ensure an unsurpassed level of service is provided to members.

Participates in the Sales Incentive Program.

Maintains Notary Public designation.

Processes all secured and unsecured paid notes and security agreements.

Provides quotes on consumer loan payoffs.

Handles routine file maintenance on computer system.

Performs other duties as may be assigned.
Requirements:
- High School graduate.

Previous financial branch credit union/bank experience.

Thorough knowledge of credit union products and services.

Must be able to respect confidential information.

Adept at utilizing most current technology and thorough knowledge of core operation system.

General knowledge of credit union policies and procedures.

Should have excellent communication skills and maintain a positive attitude with members and a cooperative attitude with other team members.
Work Schedule:
Monday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Tuesday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Wednesday - Off
Thursday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday - 8:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday - 8:45am - 1:00pm
Work Location: Fully On-Site
