Responsibilities:
Experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physcian Assistant who can work independentlly without supervision
Part Time Long Term
Work on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Perform minor procedures, such as pap smear and administering injections.
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical terminology, ICD-9 coding, and documentation systems such as Cerner.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective patient interactions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to assess complex medical conditions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
Conversant with EMR, preferably ECW
Basic knowledge of Hindi/Urdu and or Spanish preferred
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
