Center for Academic Success is a public charter and we are currently seeking a full-time special education teacher to join our team.
The best candidate will have experience as a special education teacher. Experience creating and executing individual education plans (IEP) for students is a must and he/she would be responsible for administering and interpreting formal/informal assessments and measures of student progress toward IEP goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance
- Fluent in English; with written and oral communication
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored for special education needs including literacy, math, behavior management, and library services integration
- Experience implementing IEPs and working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
