POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP) team, this position will interact with students, school personnel, and business leaders to execute the transformative Cristo Rey Work Study Program model alongside CWSP staff. Teaching students job skills, managing the relationships between the school and its Job Partners, and assisting in the coordination and operations of the overall program, are the primary duties of this role.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Corporate Job Partner Relations
Manage relationships with an assigned portfolio of corporate partners to ensure strong engagement, student retention, and overall satisfaction. Serve as the primary point of contact, coaching supervisors on how to effectively utilize student workers and maintain regular communication through calls, emails, and site visits.
Monitor partner feedback and escalate any concerns, while supporting key events such as orientations, kick-off meetings, and appreciation events. Coordinate logistics related to student schedules, attendance, and coverage, including communication of absences and upkeep of tracking systems and records.
Student Formation & Professional Development
Support student job placement, development, and success throughout the year. Assist with matching students to roles based on skills and employer needs, monitor performance, and provide coaching, remediation, and retraining when needed. Reinforce workplace expectations, including dress code and professionalism, and regularly check in with students on their job experience. Help track evaluations, manage gradebooks, and support student feedback and recognition processes.
Other Duties
Provide day-to-day support for the Corporate Work Study Program, including assisting with intern management and administrative tasks. Participate in key events such as student registration, interviews, open houses, and partner engagements, with occasional evening and weekend availability required.
Pay: $26.44 - $29.81 per hour
