JOB This is a seasonal position and is scheduled to work less than 30 hours per week and less than 1000 hours per fiscal year. A non-supervisory position with journeyman level with responsibility for the performance of skilled manual labor, including the care and maintenance of ballparks and other recreational facilities operated by the city; primary responsibility is for ballpark maintenance. Must be willing to adopt and exhibit the City of Brownwood “I SERVE” Core Values. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES 1) Cut grass and ballfields; 2) Irrigate and fertilize; 3) Cleans restrooms in complex and recreational buildings; 4) Repairs fences, gates, bleachers and general maintenance including assisting others as needed; 5) Polices parks and recreational areas to assure they are kept clean; 6) Mark fields to specifications of the leagues; 7) Drives a City vehicle from site to site in order to perform duties; 8) Performs other duties as assigned by Recreation Supervisor and Sports Complex Crew Chief.
