Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory, material handling, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining accurate receiving documentation
- Assist with maintaining accurate shipping documentation
- Load and unload trucks as needed
- Move and place materials, components, products, and other items in designated locations
- Help maintain storage areas to ensure safety, organization, and a clean appearance
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing items and quantities on the same day of arrival or departure
- Perform material handling duties for in-process materials as needed
- Assist with inventory counts as directed
- Follow all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Support other shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to accurately count, verify, and document materials and products
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift experience preferred, but not required unless otherwise specified
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as required by the position
- Must have education and/or experience appropriate for the responsibilities of the role
