I'm looking for someone to join our vibrant team as a Seasonal Formal Dress Sales Associate at Little Black Dress, where your fashion and customer-focused approach will shine! In this lively fast paced role, you’ll assist customers in finding the perfect formal attire for special occasions, ensuring they feel confident and beautiful. Looking for someone who is available nights and weekends as these are the highest traffic times. There is a potential to stay on longer than the homecoming season but would need to have an interest in tuxedos as well.
Commission is granted for each sale of dresses
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and engage with enthusiasm to understand their formal dress needs for various events.
- Assist shoppers in trying on dresses, accessories, and complementary items, offering style advice.
- Operate the cash register, handle retail sales transactions accurately, and process payments efficiently while maintaining a friendly phone etiquette.
- Put out new dresses as they come in, organize displays, and ensure the store remains visually appealing through effective merchandising.
- Manage the cash drawer with care, perform basic math for transactions, and handle cash handling duties responsibly.
Skills
- Previous retail sales experience with familiarity in POS systems and cash register operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide personalized customer service and product knowledge.
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Knowledge of retail math, cash handling procedures, and retail store product knowledge is essential for smooth transactions.
- Ability to perform stocking duties, merchandising tasks, and product input confidently.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create welcoming shopping experiences.
