Job description:
We're seeking an experienced Chef to join our catering operation. In this role, you'll prepare and cook menu items for a variety of events while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and food safety. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items for catered events
- Ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation meet our standards
- Manage timing and consistency across service
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen
- Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management
- Follow all food-safety and health-code practices
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a cook or chef, ideally in catering or high-volume service
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, safety, and sanitation
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple orders
- Reliable, organized, and a strong team player
- Food Handler / ServSafe certification preferred
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
