Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, adhering to recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests to provide personalized service, recommend drinks, and enhance their overall experience
- Manage POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, including cash handling and credit card processing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-serving
- Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service or catering events like banquets or private parties
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender
- Familiarity with POS systems such as SpotOn
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails is desirable
