Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Leasing Consultant and become the welcoming face of our vibrant property community! In this energetic role, you will drive leasing success by engaging with prospective residents, showcasing our beautiful properties, and guiding applicants through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your proactive approach will help foster positive relationships, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and contribute to a lively, customer-focused environment. This position is for someone that is highly self motivated and able to go out and market the property and be able to connect with the Prospects and Residents to keep the property at a high occupancy and the standard high. Experience in Property Management is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Greet prospective residents warmly and conduct engaging property tours to highlight features and amenities.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry to lease signing, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
- Assist applicants with completing rental applications.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law during all interactions and documentation processes.
- Promote available units through upselling techniques while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry, contract preparation, and maintaining organized leasing files.
- Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate maintenance requests and facilitate property upkeep.
- Address tenant concerns promptly using conflict management skills to foster positive relationships.
- Support office operations by managing phone etiquette, scheduling appointments, and assisting with general administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in or customer service roles within property management or related fields.
- Familiarity with property management software
- Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law.
- Strong negotiation skills combined with excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience handling legal contracts, lease agreements, and administrative documentation accurately.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Office experience including data entry, filing, phone etiquette, and customer relationship management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell properties effectively while providing exceptional customer service.
