We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across our facilities. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe, hygienic environment for staff and visitors by performing cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly to handle sensitive areas and information.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to safety protocols.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent standards.
- Adhere to security protocols related to sensitive areas requiring TS/SCI clearance.
Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly is required.
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and reliability.
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
