We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant who is committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences and supporting our providers in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Position Summary
The Medical Assistant supports providers through a combination of patient care and administrative responsibilities. This role plays a key part in creating a positive patient experience while ensuring efficient clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Room and prepare patients for appointments, including intake and vital signs.
- Assist providers with patient follow-up, prescription refills, inbox management, and documentation.
- Prepare, stock, clean, and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
- Manage patient charts, lab results, diagnostic reports, and outside medical records.
- Educate patients and support scheduling and care coordination.
- Respond to patient calls, portal messages, and other patient inquiries.
- Cross-train in laboratory, phlebotomy, and front desk functions as needed.
- Attend required meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies.
- Travel to other clinic locations as business needs require.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS and/or CPR/AED certification required.
- Minimum 6 months of recent Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- CMA certification preferred.
- CPT (Phlebotomy) certification preferred.

Physical Requirements
- Lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
- Stand and walk approximately 50% of the workday.
- Sit and type approximately 50% of the workday.
Pay: $19.76 - $23.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
