Job Summary
Operate the press machine and perform material handling functions.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Use the press machine to layout the laminate to the material.
- Operate a forklift to move materials through the warehouse, as needed.
- Report any defective materials or questionable conditions to the General Manager.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly and safely.
- Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of tooling materials
- Must be flexible with task assignments
- Maintain current Forklift Driver certification
- Basic mechanical knowledge to make minor repairs, a plus
- Good mathematical skills
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.
- Previous woodworking experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
- This position will regularly require the ability to sit, stand for long periods of time, bend, reach and lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
