We are a growing provider of in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in Northern Virginia, dedicated to supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate and experienced part-time BT/RBT to join our team and provide high-quality services in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Behavior Technician (BT) to join our growing team. This is a part-time, in-home position where you will work directly with children implementing behavior plans designed by a BCBA. If you are looking to make a difference and grow in the field of ABA, this is a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes under BCBA supervision
- Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
- Collect accurate session data and complete documentation
- Maintain clear and professional communication with caregivers and supervisors
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing supervision
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- RBT Certification OR completion of a 40-hour ABA training course (required)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or equivalent)
- Negative TB test within 30 days of hire (required)
- Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance (required)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or have valid work authorization
- Excellent communication, reliability, and time management skills
- Comfortable working in various home environments
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Experience working in an in-home setting
