We are seeking an Assistant Director who is knowledgeable about Preschool and has strong management experience. Must understand and knowledgeable about Title 22 including Preschool Admin works.

As an Assistant Director, you will:
Works alongside the Center Director to support the overall operations of the childcare center. Assistant Director plays a crucial role in assisting the Center Director in providing high-quality early childhood education and care, supporting the well-being and development of young children, and maintaining a collaborative and inclusive community environment within the center.
- Displaying passion for making a positive impact on the lives of children and employees.
- Ensure that the physical center environment adheres to health and safety standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance with local and state licensing regulations.
- Build and maintain a highly qualified staff by actively sourcing, training, coaching, and engaging with current and prospective employees.
- Guide our teachers in implementing our proprietary curriculum, leveraging your passion for learning.
- Take advantage of our engaging characters to drive the curriculum, creating a fun and enriching learning experience at TLE.
- Drive consistent business results, measured through family retention and conversion, enrollment growth, and efficient business operations including to manage accounts receivable.
- Engage prospective families through both in-person and virtual center tours, effectively showcasing the benefits of our program.
- Organize and execute community marketing events to raise awareness and drive enrollment.
Job Qualifications:
- Have two or more years of center leadership / management experience.
- Possess the California state-specific Administrative or Director credential, as well as any other state-specific guidelines for the role.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a related field.
- Meet California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 22 qualifications for Child Care.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
- Possess a valid Pediatric CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Possess a valid California Preventive Health, Safety & Nutrition certificate.
- Possess a current Mandated Reporter Certificate.
- Possess an Infant/Toddler Development & Care units.
- Has a current or pass CDSS Background check certification.
- Possess a Food Manager certification (required).
- Had experience in mentoring teachers (required).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to support children and various needs in classroom / center.
- Ability to bend and squat to interact with children.
There are applicable state licensing requirements for the role.
