We're hiring W-2 Behavior Technician to support K–5 students in the school setting for the 2026–2027 school year. Whether you’ve worked in schools, pediatric care, or another hands-on support role, we’d love to connect with you. Position Details
- Caseload: Elementary
- Schedule: Monday – Friday
- Hours: 30–33 hours/week
- Dates: August 2026 - May 2027, with potential to renew
- Location: Onsite
Responsibilities
- Assist students with daily living activities, mobility, feeding, and hygiene needs
- Support students in the classroom and during school activities
- Follow care plans and behavior support strategies as directed by staff or medical teams
- Document services and share observations with the support team
- Promote student safety, independence, and dignity
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and nurses to meet student needs
Qualifications
- 1 Year Experience working in school setting preferred
- Idaho Standard Instruction Certificate who meets qualifications for an endorsement specific to special education as defined in IDAPA 08.02.02 OR Bachelor’s degree in a human services field* OR Bachelor’s degree and 24 semester credits in a human services field*.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
