About the Role
At Revco Lighting & Electrical Supply, our Procurement Manager is responsible for leading Revco's purchasing function by developing sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, overseeing inventory replenishment, and ensuring product availability while optimizing inventory investment and profitability. This position provides leadership and direction to the Purchasing Agents, Expeditor, and Returns Coordinator to ensure efficient purchasing operations, timely product flow, and exceptional internal customer service.
What You'll Do
Purchasing & Inventory Management
· Develop and execute purchasing strategies that support sales objectives, inventory goals, and profitability.
· Oversee inventory replenishment to maintain appropriate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
· Monitor inventory trends, demand forecasts, and purchasing metrics to improve inventory performance.
· Evaluate purchasing opportunities and negotiate favorable pricing, terms, and vendor programs.
Team Leadership
· Lead, coach, and develop the Purchasing Agents, Expeditor, and Returns Coordinator to ensure efficient daily operations.
· Establish clear priorities, monitor workloads, and promote accountability within the purchasing team.
· Provide training, guidance, and ongoing performance feedback to support employee development.
· Foster collaboration between Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse, Accounting, and Branch Operations.
Supply Chain & Operational Excellence
· Oversee the expediting process to ensure timely follow-up on open purchase orders and critical customer needs.
· Ensure the returns process is managed efficiently to maximize vendor credits and customer satisfaction.
· Analyze purchasing and inventory data to identify trends, improve processes, and support informed business decisions.
· Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Performance & Reporting
· Monitor purchasing KPIs including inventory turns, fill rates, vendor performance, backorders, and inventory investment.
· Prepare reports and recommendations for leadership regarding purchasing performance and inventory strategy.
· Ensure purchasing practices align with company policies and financial objectives.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
