Summerset Lincoln Assisted Living is seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate enjoys working with seniors, provides excellent customer service, and is comfortable working in a busy front-office environment.
As the first point of contact for residents, families, visitors, and team members, the Receptionist plays an important role in creating a welcoming, positive experience in our community.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents, families, visitors, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Answer incoming telephone calls, take messages, and transfer calls appropriately.
- Assist residents with questions, requests, and general front-desk needs.
- Maintain resident logs and emergency information.
- Accept and sign for deliveries, mail, prescriptions, and other items.
- Assist with scheduling resident appointments and activities as needed.
- Provide directions and communicate information to residents, families, staff, and visitors.
- Assist with basic administrative duties, including copying, filing, distributing documents, and preparing weekly packets.
- Maintain confidentiality of resident, employee, and community information.
- Follow front-desk procedures and resident tracking requirements.
- Assist other departments and team members as needed.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established community procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous Receptionist, administrative, customer service, or senior living experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and patient demeanor.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively with seniors, families, coworkers, and outside professionals.
Schedule
This is a part-time position. Candidates must work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on community needs.
Compensation
$17.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
