Duties
- Safely operate Class B dump trucks to transport construction materials, debris, and aggregates between sites and storage areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the dump truck, ensuring mechanical soundness and adherence to safety standards
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using auxiliary equipment such as excavators, loaders, or backhoes when necessary
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance needs
- Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations while on the road and at construction sites
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating dump trucks (Class B)
- Proven experience in commercial driving within construction or related industries
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Experience with construction projects involving paving, tanker operations, or grading is highly desirable
