Purpose & Scope:
The Marketing Associate position will touch nearly every aspect of content marketing, including branding, social media, internal and external communications, lead generation, email marketing, content creation, graphic design, website, SEO, and more. This is a hands-on role reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications. This entry level job is a fantastic way to learn the business and develop your marketing skills.
Duties:
1. Along with Director of Marketing and Communications, coordinate company marketing strategies across all platforms.
2. Support content creation for social media, website, monthly newsletter, PR, blogs, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and white papers.
3. Oversee internal communications efforts, including company outings, holiday parties, picnics, raffles, group photos, and more.
4. Assist with branding needs and events, including annual conference, merchandise branding, and sales swag.
5. Support lead generation efforts, including SEO, email marketing, etc.
Responsibilities: Percentage of Time
1. Update price books, manuals, tech flyers, and brochures 30%
2. Create graphics for company events, social media, 35%
marketing materials, and more
3. Social media and content creation 15%
4. Refresh web content 10%
5. Branding, PR, marketing, internal communications support 10 %
Education Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree OR
2. Associate’s Degree in Graphics/Marketing with 2 years of experience
