Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a strong background in residential electrical work. Commercial electrical experience preferred with the ability to handle high and low voltage systems. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various electrical tools and equipment. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on construction sites.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various electrical tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute projects accurately
- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion
- Perform renovations involving electrical work while adhering to safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a residential or commercial electrician
- Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage systems
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations
- Ability to work alone or with a team.
- Experience with renovation projects involving electrical work is preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members
