Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Epoxy/Paint Operator to join our team in preparing, coating, and finishing metal components for high-performance power distribution systems. This role is essential to ensuring the durability, safety, and aesthetic quality of our critical equipment. Primary Duties: In this role, you will be responsible for preparing parts through masking, cleaning, sanding, and bead blasting, as well as applying epoxy or paint using precise mixing ratios and application techniques. You will operate dispensing and paint line equipment safely and accurately while inspecting finished parts to ensure all quality standards are met. Additionally, you will follow build specifications, safety data sheets (SDS), and digital work instructions, maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace following 5S standards, and collaborate with the team on setup, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Requirements: Previous experience in manufacturing or similar hands-on work. Comfortable using hand tools and handling small parts. Strong hand-eye coordination and visual attention to detail for inspection. Must be able to stand for extended time periods, bend, squat and kneel Must have good vision to inspect parts and assemblies. High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school background preferred.
