Amazon Seller Account Specialist — Manager Level

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Amazon Seller Account Specialist to manage the day-to-day operations of our Amazon marketplace business. This is a hands-on, manager-level position for someone who can independently operate within Seller Central, identify issues before they affect the business, and coordinate solutions across inventory, logistics, catalog, advertising, finance, and customer experience.
This is not an entry-level account support role. The ideal candidate will take ownership of marketplace execution, maintain strong account health, and provide management with clear reporting and actionable recommendations.
Key ResponsibilitiesSeller Central Management
- Manage daily operations across Amazon Seller Central.
- Monitor account health, performance notifications, policy compliance, and marketplace risks.
- Open, manage, and escalate Seller Support and Brand Registry cases.
- Resolve listing suppressions, stranded inventory, pricing errors, blocked ASINs, and other operational issues.
- Maintain user permissions, account settings, tax documentation, and marketplace configurations.
Catalog and Listing Management
- Create and maintain product listings, variations, attributes, images, and enhanced content.
- Manage bulk listing updates through inventory files, category templates, and flat files.
- Troubleshoot catalog conflicts, contribution issues, incorrect variations, and duplicate listings.
- Monitor listing accuracy and ensure content remains consistent across marketplaces.
- Coordinate with brand and creative teams to implement updated product content.
Inventory and Fulfillment
- Monitor FBA and AWD inventory levels, inbound shipments, receiving discrepancies, and inventory availability.
- Develop replenishment recommendations based on sales velocity, lead times, seasonality, and inventory targets.
- Help prevent stockouts, excess inventory, aged inventory, and unnecessary storage fees.
- Investigate lost or damaged inventory and pursue eligible reimbursements.
- Coordinate with internal supply-chain teams, manufacturers, freight partners, and Amazon support.
Commercial and Promotional Execution
- Implement pricing changes, coupons, promotions, and marketplace deals.
- Monitor Buy Box performance, pricing compliance, competitive activity, and unauthorized sellers.
- Coordinate with advertising partners or internal teams to ensure campaigns support inventory and commercial priorities.
- Track product-level sales, returns, conversion, traffic, advertising performance, and profitability.
Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports covering sales, inventory, fees, returns, account health, and operational performance.
- Analyze marketplace trends and identify risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
- Support monthly financial reconciliation using Seller Central reports and settlement data.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, trackers, and account documentation.
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
Qualifications
- At least 4–6 years of hands-on Amazon Seller Central experience.
- Demonstrated ownership of a meaningful Amazon marketplace account or product portfolio.
- Strong working knowledge of FBA, AWD, inventory planning, catalog management, Brand Registry, and account health.
- Experience resolving complex Seller Support cases and marketplace compliance issues.
- Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and large-data analysis.
- Strong commercial judgment and understanding of Amazon fees, returns, advertising, and product profitability.
- Excellent written communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple internal and external teams.
Preferred Experience
- Experience managing multiple Amazon marketplaces, including the United States, United Kingdom, or European Union.
- Experience with Seller Central reporting, settlement reconciliation, and FBA reimbursements.
- Familiarity with Amazon advertising and the relationship between advertising, inventory, and profitability.
- Experience with consumer products, kitchen products, beauty, household goods, or another inventory-based category.
- Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central, Shopify, or third-party marketplace software is helpful but not required.

Contract Details

- Payment: $5,000 per month
- Term: Initial 12-month engagement, with the possibility of renewal

- Schedule: Full-time availability with regular overlap during U.S. business hours
