AI CRM Bot & Semiconductor AI

About SemiAI
SemiAI builds AI software for semiconductor manufacturing. Our platform helps fabs improve yield, predict process issues, and accelerate root-cause analysis.
We are building a lean U.S. hub in San Francisco to support global semiconductor customers and develop young AI/software talent.
Role Overview
We are looking for a smart and hands-on intern who can build practical AI tools quickly.
Your first project will be to build an internal CRM AI Bot that helps SemiAI manage customer relationships, emails, meetings, follow-ups, POCs, and dashboards.
If you perform well, the role may expand into SemiAI’s core semiconductor AI systems, including virtual metrology, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and AI workflow automation.
First Project: CRM AI Bot
You will help build a tool that can:
- Track customers, contacts, opportunities, and POCs.
- Connect with Outlook emails and meeting notes.
- Summarize emails and meetings into action items.
- Create dashboards for pipeline, project status, risks, and next steps.
- Automate simple customer follow-up and reporting workflows.
The goal is to create a simple customer control tower for SemiAI’s U.S. business.
Responsibilities
- Build web apps, dashboards, bots, and workflow automation tools.
- Use AI coding tools to move quickly from idea to prototype.
- Work with sales, customer, and engineering teams.
- Clean and structure customer/project data.
- Document code, workflows, and user guides.
- Present weekly demos and progress updates.
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Basic experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs, or web app development.
- Interest in AI, software engineering, data products, or automation.
- Comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Replit, Lovable, Bolt, or similar platforms.
- Fast learner with strong ownership and clear communication.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred
- Experience building dashboards, bots, or web apps.
- Experience with React, Next.js, FastAPI, Streamlit, Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL, or similar tools.
- Experience with Outlook, Microsoft Graph API, Teams, SharePoint, or CRM tools.
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing or industrial AI.
90-Day Success Criteria
By the end of the internship, you should deliver:
- A working CRM AI Bot or web app MVP.
- A simple dashboard for customer pipeline and POC status.
- At least two workflow automations.
- Clear documentation for future interns or engineers.
- A final demo and short report.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
