About the Position
Priority Care Alliance is seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide person-centered support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. PCA is an In Home and Community Support Services provider (not residential homes).
As a DSP, you will help individuals live more independently, participate in their communities, develop daily living skills, and work toward their personal goals. We believe Every Shift Has Purpose™—and every interaction is an opportunity to make a difference.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centered support with daily living and personal care needs
- Promote independence, choice, dignity, and self-advocacy
- Support community participation, activities, appointments, and individual goals
- Assist with meals, household tasks, and maintaining a safe environment
- Support mobility and transfers when needed and properly trained
- Follow individual service plans and Priority Care Alliance policies
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Communicate professionally with individuals, families, and the support team
- Recognize and report changes, incidents, and safety concerns
Qualifications
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Experience with autism or behavioral support is a plus
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred; training may be provided
- Must be willing to complete required clearances, background checks, and training
- Reliable transportation may be required depending on the assignment
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
