Job Description : The Senior Transportation and Logistics Planning Consultant leads Logistics transformation projects. This role is responsible for solution design including end-to-end design, integrations, data for Logistics Planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years of related work experience and responsibilities delivering projects in Transportation and Logistics domain
- In Depth functional / domain expertise and hands on experiences in configurations, training, customer communications and documentations
- Prior experience in Modelling Logistics Network is a must
- Experienced in designing solution across all modes of Transportation i.e. Truck Load, Less Than Truck Load, Ocean, Air and Parcel, FCL, LCL
- Experienced in Domestic and International Logistics Networks
- Led and managed minimum 2-3 full lifecycle TMS or Transportation Planning implementations in large and complex environment
Responsibilities
- Gather Business requirements
- Analyze and transform to application requirements
- Lead Functional Design approval process
- Document aThingz Platform configuration requirements, business rules
- Configure, Model, Transportation Plans in aThingz Planning Platform
- Strong interaction with functional and techno functional work streams
- Subject matter in the following Transportation areas:
- Order Management
- Dock Scheduling & Appointments
- Knowledge of other Transportation Solutions such as Oracle, SAP etc
- Systems / Data integration experience is a plus
