Company Description
A Moore Better Me Behavioral Health is a growing mental and behavioral health practice providing evidence-based, person-centered services to individuals and families. We are expanding our continuum of care to include in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in Texas.
We are seeking an experienced BCBA to serve as the founding Lead BCBA and help establish a high-quality, family-centered ABA program focused on individualized treatment, measurable outcomes, caregiver collaboration, and ethical care.
Role Description
The Lead BCBA will provide clinical oversight and direct behavior-analytic services for our developing in-home ABA program. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing caregiver training, supervising RBTs, analyzing treatment data, and maintaining high standards for clinical quality and documentation.
The BCBA will also have an opportunity to help shape the program’s clinical workflows, RBT supervision model, documentation standards, and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ABA and functional behavior assessments.
- Develop individualized treatment and behavior intervention plans.
- Provide protocol modification and monitor treatment outcomes.
- Provide parent/caregiver training.
- Supervise, train, and support RBTs/behavior technicians.
- Analyze clinical data and modify interventions as appropriate.
- Complete assessments, reassessments, and payer-required clinical documentation.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical records.
- Participate in clinical quality and documentation reviews.
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary providers.
- Support development of ABA clinical policies, workflows, and supervision standards.
- Provide in-home/community services and eligible remote services as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
- Current Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license.
- Master’s degree or higher in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
- Experience supervising RBTs/behavior technicians.
- Strong assessment, treatment-planning, data-analysis, and documentation skills.
- Ability to satisfy applicable payer credentialing requirements.
- Reliable transportation and ability to provide in-home services within the designated service area.
Preferred: 3+ years of BCBA experience, in-home ABA experience, insurance-funded ABA experience, previous clinical leadership experience, and familiarity with authorization/reauthorization processes.
Schedule & Growth Opportunity
This position will initially operate on an hourly, variable schedule with no guaranteed minimum weekly hours.
The selected BCBA will first complete applicable credentialing and payer enrollment. Clinical hours will begin as payer approvals, client authorizations, and census become available.
As the ABA program grows, hours are expected to increase, with potential advancement into a full-time Lead BCBA or Director of ABA Services position.
Compensation
Competitive hourly compensation based on experience.
This is an opportunity for an experienced BCBA to join an ABA program at its beginning and play an important role in shaping its clinical culture and future growth.
Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
