Overview
We are seeking a motivated and eager Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Install conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, lighting, motors, and other electrical equipment.
- Diagnose electrical issues using testing equipment such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable local codes, and company safety standards.
- Familiarize yourself with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure compliance during installations and repairs.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems.
- Supervise and mentor apprentice electricians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any required documentation.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Experience/Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or construction environments.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems, industrial and or construction electrician practices, or commercial electrician tasks.
- Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards in all aspects of work.
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and preform physically demanding tasks.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
