Duties
- Safely operate your personal large truck or similar vehicle to deliver packages and goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload items
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging professionally with recipients, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Manage the loading process, including heavy lifting and moving items safely to prevent damage or injury.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred.
- Proven delivery driver experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and safe driving practices.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous; must be comfortable driving such vehicles if applicable.
