We are currently hiring Behavior Therapists to work in school, home and the community with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other related disorders. We are seeking motivated, empathetic individuals who are interested in a role within the field of ABA that offers schedule consistency, high levels of guidance from mentors, and a humanistic, naturalistic approach to therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and/or group therapy to clients, utilizing behavior plans under the supervision and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Work directly with clients to teach communication skills, social skills, daily living skills, and strategies to reduce and replace challenging behaviors
- Follow behavior plans to de-escalate challenging behavior
- Collect and record data on client progress
- Travel within the area is required (Pinellas County)
- Work independently and as a group

Location:
- The majority of client sessions are held in our clinic or in our on-campus private school, Excellerated Teaching Academy (same location)
- Some sessions are held off site in public schools, home, or community settings
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/ GED required, some college experience preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician certification or willing to go through training to become one
- Experience working with children; experience with children on the Autism Spectrum or developmental disabilities strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation and Driver's License
- Must be able to pass Background Check
- Comfortable working with children who display behavior problems
- Able to ask for help from supervisors/support team when needed
