Patient Care Coordinator
Silver Creek Radiology, locally owned and physician operated since opening in 2015, is East San Jose's premier imaging center. We provide quality care to all of our patients in a modern and welcoming environment. With an emphasis on customer service and a focus on meeting the needs of the surrounding community, have a particular need for Vietnamese-speaking staff.
We are looking for a full time Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with patients and medical staff to create a fluid process for scheduling, check-in and patient intake. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills. Ability to speak Vietnamese is required. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on patient care.
Starting rate is variable depending on professional experience in customer service and/or healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients for exams
- Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule and confirm appointments and maintain calendars.
- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary
- Coordinate insurance verification and billing processes
- Ensure patient paperwork is completed.
- May provide general administrative and clerical support.
- Assist with customer support inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills
- Bilingual Required (Vietnamese/English)
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a receptionist, clerk, or personal assistant is preferred
- Experience checking insurance benefits and eligibility
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Friendly and professional demeanor with patients and staff
