Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health, and pain management strategies to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and client feedback in compliance with licensing and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated approaches for pain relief and rehabilitation
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to enhance your skills and service quality
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing
- Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other advanced therapeutic techniques
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans
- Familiarity with occupational health principles and pain management strategies
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is preferred
