We are a relatively new private orthodontic practice located in Sachse, Texas. We are looking for a part-time orthodontic assistant to join our growing team every other Saturdays! Our intention is to hopefully hire for more days in the future as the office grows. We are looking for someone who will be a great fit for our team. The position will require to cover the front as well. Pay will be determined based on experience. We want someone with some orthodontic experience but we are more than happy to train you, as long as you want to learn!
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and seat patients
- Take high quality radiographs and pictures
- Tie and untie wires
- Take impressions (digital and alginate), pouring and trimming models
- Place and remove orthodontic appliances and bands
- 3D scan for Invisalign
- Prepare for bonding brackets
- Sterilize instruments
- Take phone calls
Pay:
- Will vary depending on experience
- Supplemental incentive bonus
Schedule:
- 6 hour shifts
- Every other Saturdays
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active State Dental Assisting license
- Prior Orthodontic assistant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Be efficient in managing a daily schedule
- Motivated to help the office grow and continue high standard of care
- Positive attitude
- Prior front desk receptionist experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
