Criminal Research Analyst to obtain and report criminal, traffic, civil, property and corporate documents.
POSITION SUMMARY
Conducts criminal, traffic, and civil court research based on the key identifiers provided by Mohr Information & Investigative Services clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Conduct court research using the courts public access terminals to determine if the subject has any criminal, traffic, and/or civil records to report back to the client.
- Recognize and comprehend the clients primary search scope and Special Instructions.
- Use analytical skills to ensure a record is ‘clear’ – no criminal information found – or has criminal information to report back to the client.
- Analyze, decipher, and comprehend court record findings that contain abbreviated, coded, and shorthand descriptions.
- Data enter findings into concise and accurate reports using multiple company and client databases.
- Perform quality control checks to verify and confirm complete accuracy, appropriate and consistent grammar, spelling, and punctuation on all reports and data collections.
- Meet time deadlines and performance expectations.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality regarding client and Company information and ensure proper destruction of confidential documents.
