Duties
- Assist with inventory management by stocking, organizing, and tracking HVAC parts and equipment
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport materials safely within the warehouse.
- Conduct materials handling tasks including heavy lifting, stock rotation, and order fulfillment to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and audits while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow efficiency.
- Assist in construction or manufacturing-related tasks when necessary, applying mechanical knowledge for equipment setup or repairs.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations or distribution environments; previous warehouse supervisor experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with inventory management
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of materials handling techniques and packaging procedures.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order picking & packing activities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation.
- Construction or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
