SCHEDULE: Sunday through Thursday | Variable hours — open availability required
COMPENSATION: $15.00 to $20.00 per hour + commission on personal sales + tips
ABOUT LEAF DIARY:
Leaf Diary is a licensed family-owned rare plant nursery based in Crystal River, Florida specializing in premium tropical and rare houseplants. We sell through live auction platforms and we are growing fast. We are looking for a dedicated and motivated team member to grow with us.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This is a dual role requiring both physical order fulfillment and on-camera live sales hosting. The ideal candidate is reliable, personable, comfortable on camera, and takes genuine pride in their work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pack and fulfill plant orders accurately and with care according to Leaf Diary standards
- Host live sales shows on our online platforms representing the Leaf Diary brand
- Assist with daily nursery operations and inventory maintenance
- Communicate schedule availability and any changes proactively and in advance
- Complete all assigned tasks promptly without requiring repeated instruction
- Maintain a professional and motivated presence during all scheduled shifts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be available Sunday through Thursday with open availability as hours change day to day
- Must be comfortable appearing on camera for live streaming
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting and packing
- Clean background check required
- Drug free workplace — pre-employment screening may be required
- Must have verifiable professional or personal references
- Must be available for a 90 day probationary period starting at hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required
- Must be punctual and reliable — attendance and on-time arrival are non-negotiable
- Prior plant or nursery experience is a plus but not required
- Prior live streaming or on-camera experience is a plus but not required
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- $15.00 to $20.00 per hour based on experience
