Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Mix/Mill/Granulation Utility position will be responsible for supporting the department by verifying weights for operators, assisting in changeovers and a multitude of other supporting functions.
Second Shift: 2:00pm - 12:30am, Monday - Thursday, or as job responsibilities require.
$19.07 to 20.98 / Hour
- Monitor quality of product by collecting samples for lab testing
- Maintain and record all required documentation (batch sheets, end shift report, ingredient lot tracking, etc.)
- Complete all labeling and inventory movements to ensure accurate inventory control
- Prepare raw materials going back to the warehouse
- Assist with dismantling and cleaning any accessories and equipment between batches while also maintaining a clean work area
- Miscellaneous cleaning tasks (cleaning scoops, fluid bed filters, etc.)
- Assist in performing machine changeovers and sanitations
- Verify weights for fluid beds
- Perform daily verification of scale accuracy
- Weigh and stage barrels of raw materials
- Clean and wrap pallets of finished product
- Perform job duties in a manner that meets company Quality and Safety standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-1 years of experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in a food processing environment preferred
- Experience as a machine operator preferred
- Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of basic math
- Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
