American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Milwaukee, WI, requiring a minimum of 3 years of ED experience and active WI or compact RN license.

Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30

Emergency Department setting in a large hospital

Epic EMR used
-
Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
-
Floating within skill set may be required, including to sites within 40 miles of the facility

Active WI or compact RN license required

Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale — all must be current
-
MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required — must be an 8-hour course, renewed every 2 years
-
Minimum 3 years of ED experience required, or 5+ years in a large ED for candidates without prior travel experience

Prior travel nursing experience preferred for candidates with fewer than 5 years of ED experience

Epic EMR experience required

Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address

Two professional references required

Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Provides emergency nursing care across a broad patient population in a high-volume ED environment

May be required to float within skill set to other units or sites within a 40-mile radius

Local candidates are accepted but may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
