Overview
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a skilled nursing facility in Miami. This role is ideal for an SLP who is comfortable working in a fast-paced SNF environment and focused on improving patient communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
If you have prior SNF experience and enjoy working with a geriatric population, this is a strong opportunity with a supportive rehab team.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately

Collaborate with nursing, rehab, and interdisciplinary teams

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation standards

Educate patients, families, and staff on therapy plans and progress
Qualifications

Active SLP license in the state of Florida (REQUIRED)

Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) (REQUIRED)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Strong knowledge of dysphagia management and cognitive therapy

Experience with Medicare and SNF documentation standards
