We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with a passion for working on a variety of equipment. Duties
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on diesel engines. Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Conducting brake repairs and replacements to ensure the safety of our drivers and the public
- Repairing and maintaining HVAC systems on our vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing issues with diesel engines and other equipment
- Suspending and lifting heavy equipment as needed
- Assembling and disassembling components for maintenance and repair
- Utilizing power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
Skills
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Proficiency with power tools and equipment
- Familiarity with brake repair and suspension systems
- Experience with HVAC systems and equipment repair
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and safety
