Quality Control Technician
Machine & Tool Manufacturing | Adel, GA
MTM is hiring a detail-oriented QC Technician to support inspection and quality assurance across our machining, fabrication, and finishing operations.
Responsibilities
Inspect incoming materials, in-process parts, and finished assemblies to customer and internal specifications
Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensional accuracy
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
Identify and flag non-conforming parts; initiate and track corrective actions
Support first-article inspections and process capability checks
Communicate quality issues to shop leads and production staff in a timely manner
Requirements
1–3 years of QC experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T
Proficiency with hand measurement tools
Strong attention to detail and written documentation habits
Familiarity with CNC machining, welding, or fabrication a plus
