Position Summary
The Program Director is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and operational success of the outpatient substance use treatment program. This role oversees clinical operations, program development, regulatory compliance, business development, staff performance, and quality improvement while ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
Essential Responsibilities
Program Development & Growth
- Lead the development and expansion of the outpatient substance use disorder program.
- Create and implement strategies to grow patient census and increase community awareness.
- Develop relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, detox centers, residential facilities, physicians, courts, probation departments, DFPS, employers, and community organizations.
- Identify opportunities for new services, partnerships, and contracts.
- Assist executive leadership with strategic planning and program expansion.
Clinical Leadership
- Oversee daily clinical operations of the substance use disorder program.
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered treatment.
- Supervise clinical staff and promote professional development.
- Monitor quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Ensure timely documentation and compliance with treatment standards.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and accreditation standards.
- Maintain program readiness for audits, licensing reviews, and inspections.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
- Monitor performance indicators and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing clinical staff.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable work environment.
- Conduct staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
Business Development
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop marketing strategies.
- Participate in community outreach and networking events.
- Build relationships with referral partners and payers.
- Support insurance credentialing and contract development.
- Monitor program performance and recommend opportunities for growth.
Financial Oversight
- Assist with budget planning and resource management.
- Monitor productivity, patient volume, and program performance.
- Support revenue growth while maintaining high-quality patient care.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
